Van Gogh Village Museum Nuenen
In Nuenen, near Eindhoven, the Netherlands, Vincent van Gogh painted his masterpiece, The Potato Eaters. There are many places here that remind us of his stay. From 20 April 2023 until 28 February 2024, Karin Borghouts will be showing her photographic exhibition Vincent Was Here in the Van Gogh Village Museum Nuenen.
The brand-new Van Gogh Village Museum, opposite Vincent’s father’s vicarage, offers much more, and is also an ideal starting point for a Van Gogh cycle or walk. The museum was officially opened by Queen Máxima on 16 May 2023. Karin Borghouts’ photographic exhibition Vincent was here will be the first temporary exhibition.
This is the sixth Vincent was here exhibition. It has started in 2019 at Het Noordbrabants Museum, the Netherlands and in 2022 it was on view at the Citadel of Namur Belgium. Each time the exhibition will be different.
